77: PMC GYM 25 May 2011

Today's session focussed on song items rendered by guest singers.


There was also line dancing and rumba dances performed by the audience in tune with the songs sung by the singers and the rhythm of the band.


After the break, a team of GYMers preparing for their song item for the coming Peranakan Cultural Nite had their practice in the Music Room.

76: "The Peranakan Singers"

PMC GYMers will be taking part in PMC Peranakan Cultural Nite. Here they are, in the latest line-up as "The Peranakan Singers".

The function will be held on Sat 28 May 2011 @ PMC Sanctuary in Pasir Ris Drive 6. Time: 4-6pm. The concert is free, so please attend.
If you want to join the Peranakan Tok Panjang Buffet dinner after the concert, it's $12 per pax. Tickets are available on Sunday @ the Info Counter.

75: PMC GYM 11 May 2011

Today's highlight was Uncle Johnny Chew's 85th birthday celebration. After well-wishes from everybody, he blew out the candle.

George Wee gave details about the Durian Trip to Malaysia on 11 Jun, and Aloysius Teo said a prayer for those going to Malang/Indonesia on a mission trip on Thu next week.

74: PMC GYM 4 May 2011

Today's session began with the singing of evergreen songs, followed by a bit of dancing to the tunes played by the GYM musicians. This was followed by Praise & Worship.

(Below): The highlight of the fellowship saw Retired Pastor Andrew Wee delivering a sermonette entitled "How then shall we live?"
The food for the fellowship tea was provided by George Wee.

After the fellowship tea, the GYMers carried out various leisure activities during the breakout sessions.
(Below): There was active participation in the Karaoke Room with GYMers singing popular hits in English & Mandarin. Meanwhile, a group of them rehearsed a song item in the Music Room in preparation for the Peranakan Cultural Nite.
